Chicago's O'Hare Airport International Arrivals McDonald's

The McChronicles remains puzzled as to why McDonald's doesn't spruce up their store that is situated on the traveler's right as they emerge from customs at Chicago's O'Hare Airport.

This store ( not a restaurant - a walk-up only) always seems to look like it isn't quite done with construction. Maybe it's the color scheme, or maybe it is due to the airport property that is adjacent to the store front. Whatever it is, The McChronicles feels that this facility reflects poorly on the company's image.

That said, it is AWESOME to know that the minute you emerge from customs after a long flight, you can immediately grab a McDonald's meal. The location is completely awesome. Thanks for that!

If the MC HEAFFERS there at the chicago ohare location do not wish to be there, why work there. Are they not the rudest most annoyingly disrespectful pack of she devils ever employed by fast food?

I could not tell what terminal the Mcdonalds was at. But my son had the worst experience ever in his life with united airlines with delay and whatever else ran out of money at O"hare and had eaten in a day went up to the counter at McDonald to see if they would call me on calling card and get a credit card no. from me so he could get something to eat they told him no so he started to walk away and they called him back and gave him to egg muffins and something to drink. That was better than he had been treated by united. So no matter how bad your experiece were at the airport McDonalds rember the came through when it counted. Thanks to whoever you where.

Yeah they are so rude at that mcdonalds. I'll never go eat there again they don't even say hi can I help you they just look at you and once you order they just ignore you as your trying to get there attention to add stuff on. It didn't happen to me once but 5 times so that's when i gave up and said screw you people you need me I don't need you and like the other post said if you don't like your job then go somewere else. Very RUDE PEOPLE at that location.

It is truly a great idea. Because, after a tiring and long flight it's good to fresh the flesh with some fresh McDonald's but yes this walk-up store is reflecting bad on company's image too. Thanks for sharing. Meet & greet at Gatwick

Why would they have a McDonald's or any restaurant at an airport, I can't even consider eating before a flight or before going to the airport because if I do I'll puke on the way to the airport or before getting on the plane sense I'm looking forward to a plane ride? How could they give eating options!?

In fact, further more when Mom an Dad stopped at Chelsea's kitchen at Phoenix Sky Harbor I refused to eat there, and when Dad got some lunch at Smashburger and said that there were gluten free tacos at America's Taco Shop right next door and asked me if I wanted anything I said, "Naah."

If I gave up coffee then would I be able to eat before getting on the plane without puking all over the airport floor like I always do sounding like "BRBDRBDRBDRBD-BRRRLLLUHHSHTTLT!!!

They SHOULD NOT have a restaurant at any airport because it seems like anybody who would eat a meal before a flight should by people's own law of nature puke before being up in high places. High places include planes flying 7 miles up in the sky. I would barf if I ate before a flight sounding like this guy did when he burled. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JeSFvdANwZ0.

I have new concerns! The Sheraton & Crowne Plaza hotel chains search everybody's bags when they arrive to make sure you don't bring in any outside food. I can't ever let Dad book a room for us there if we ever are taking a flying trip because if I eat before a flight I puke but I still want to have more than one meal in a day which means I have to bring nuts and cereal to my hotel room that way I don't have to eat before the flight but can still eat later. I would either have to eat before the flight and risk puking in line at the airport or go without more than one meal if I only ate dinner but didn't bring back-up breakfast to the hotel for later.

Dear, my parents who buy me links to eat, instant coffe and Digestive advantage, this year is my 39th birthday but next year is my 40th birthday, and I would like a trip to Chicago and we could see Hannah's apartment there or we could wait until Christmas next year for a family trip to Arizona to spend more time with Russell & Sara. But whatever you do please don't book an evening flight because then we would have to eat dinner before our flight or it would be too late later, and if I have food in my stomach right before a flight I throw up before the flight so please make it a late morning or early afternoon flight so that I can skip breakfast and lunch.
