The hunt for these seasonal shakes has gotten fierce, even in NJ, where I reside. A couple months ago I had to drive into PA for EggNog shakes; I was able to find Shamrocks closer, though it took some effort. I was told by a manager at one store that franchisees don't like them as they turn the shake machine lines green.

I love Shamrock shakes! On one particular St. Patrick's Day I was working at a busy Irish Pub. We were crushed from all of the drunken "Irish" and had little time to eat. Then out of nowhere my soon to be husband drops in with a large Shamrock shake and it made my day! I am not a big fast food eater, but every year I get one of those and that day was the best one I ever drank!
