Apparently drawing data from a corporate location database, the site purports to tell us data regarding stores per X miles radius for:
- national average
- state average
- specific location entered
The site also reports your state's highest and lowest McDonald's densities by listing a few cities. In the McChronicles' home state of New York, we learned that (according to this site), the highest McDonald's density is in New York City 10017) with a density of 1 McDonald's for every 5,400 people. A McDonald's for every 0.11 square mile!
And, we also learned that the Adirondack region sees very little of the golden arches, especially in the west-central area. Inlet, NY's McDonald's/square mile was incalcuable! The McChronicles recently reported of the demise of the Old Forge, NY McDonald's.
Have some fun with this tool.

Hi,
First of all, wow!, you've been to a lot of interesting Mc Donald's restaurants!
Anyway, I'm a marketing student and as an advertising & promotions project, my teammates & I chose to work on Mc Donalds' specifically its FIFA World Cup 2006 campaign. We in the group came from different countries--Philippines, Singapore, and Germany--and Mc Donald's is one of the few brands that all 3 of us can relate to and enjoyed since we were kids.
This is getting a bit long but the point is, I was wondering if you would have or if you could point us to resources regarding this campaign, both global and local to Singapore, like prints ads, videos, advertising blasts?
I'm really sorry to have to use this comment box, but I don't know how else to contact you.
If you have any info, please maail me at Fara underscore Blanco AT Yahoo dot Com.
Thanks in advance for your help!

First of all, thank you for your interest in The McChronicles.
Secondly, good luck in school.
Finally, The McChronicles is unable to help you out on this one personally. But, if you like, we may be able to connect you to some Marketing people at McDonald's.
The McChronicles does not know any of them, but knows how to contact them. It may be possible to get them to contact you. Let us know.
a great fast food chain like McDonalds must take into acount the opinion of the costumers, remember something, we made them, for each buy you help this people to grow, and this people grow to be better for you, is a circle.
Over building is bad for business.
