"REYKJAVIK (Reuters) - Thousands of Icelanders lined up at McDonald's restaurants to order their last Big Macs before the U.S. fast-food chain abandons the crisis-hit island at midnight Saturday due to soaring costs."
This report is from Reuters and appeared on their website. The site also has a video and a deeper story - in case you want to know more.

Not related at all to this post, but I didn't see anywhere else to ask ... would you happen to know what's going on with McDonald's Southern Style Chicken Biscuit? I've noticed it disappearing off breakfast menus at several McDonald's here in Phoenix. I wrote to McDonald's on their site but got a canned non-answer. Are they discontinuing it? That would really suck - the only other good chicken biscuit out there is Chick-fil-a's offering.
Any news on the upscale mcdonalds in new york? Looks kinda cool. http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Upscale-McDonalds-brings-apf-2307762670.html?x=0&.v=6
That's incredible I can't believe that many Icelanders line up in order to get their burgers, I've thought Mac Donald's put in their burgers an secret ingredient.
there's something more interesting that a simple Big Mac in a piece of ice like this, the most important question here is. who want a burger in a place such like this???
No doubt, the chap is totally fair.
