Kind of like a frequent shopper program, the McDonald's in Singapore offer a program where customers can register and receive points towards future benefits. Points are gained by purchasing McDonald's products.The McChronicles dropped into Singapore this week to explore this as well as to check out the heavy promotional activities going on for the FAN-tastic rice sandwich (more on that in another post).
To register for the McDonald's Rewards Program, a customer has to go online, to www.McD.com.sg, register, and declare membership during each order. It seems a bit clumsy, but let's wait and see how it goes. It is billed as "the best rewards programme ever", so it ought to be a big hit. We couldn't determine what the rewards actually are without registering.
